My girl Gio just shot me over this Grace Jones inspired lookbook from Karmaloop. I have FOREVER loved Grace Jones since the days of CONAN! Her style was always light years ahead of everyone else and this lookbook is a perfect example of it. Ladies you can buy everything you see on their if it so strikes your cat like fancy. So heres the Lookbook. Also here's one of my favorite Grace Jones songs for you guys to listen to!
I'd like to introduce everyone to J Rabbit. J Rabbit aka Jeff Trunick has been a good friend of mine for awhile now and I've had the pleasure of watching him evolve from his first day as a producer to now. NOW he's pumping out some of the only dubstep we play and actually enjoy. Rabbit has come a long way and is lined up to have a monster 2010, with releases coming on B. Rich's "We Ball Harder" EP as well as digital terror, Play Me recordings, and Dutty Dubplates just to name a few. Besides being a strange internet porn addict Rabbits music is awesome and if you like super fucked up bpm changing monster bass this is the shit for you. If you want Rabbit to come to your town and make your women feel uncomfortable he's being booked through House Hold Management you can hit up MJ or Brandon over there and they'll sort you! Here's three monster remixes from Rabbit hope you enjoy!
My boy Greg Selkoe over at Karmaloop.com has been raving about this bandBad Rabbits for a hot minute now. Considering Karmaloop is touting Bad Rabbits as their first musical artist I'd have to say he's taken a shine to them. I went down to check them out a few weeks ago and was amazed to find a band that didn't make me want to cut myself. Consisting of Sheel Dave, Salim Akram, Graham Masser, Santi Araujo, and Dua Boakye on vocals, these guys are flat out amazing with a huge amount of funk influence and Dua on the mic sounding like John Legend and Prince had a fucking baby. Here's their debut EP "Stick Up Kids" I love it and I hope you do too.
Bad Rabbits-Booties
Bad Rabbits- Neverland
Bad Rabbits- She's Bad
Bad Rabbits- Stick Up Kids
Bad Rabbits- Girl I'm Like Damn ft Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes
Also just as a bit of fun info we will be working with Bad Rabbits in the near future I have no fucking idea whats going to come out of it but I promise it'll be something interesting. We will also be remixing some stuff for their EP. Thanks again to Sheel from BR for the tunes and all that make sure you check these guys out on tour Their live show is some jaw dropper shit!
This new collab from Timbaland and Katy Perry is fire on its own, but Chew Fu takes it to the next level. Get ready to shake that shit if we ever meet again.
